After weeks of grinding it out, the Philadelphia Union are back where we like them best — sitting at the top of the table.

This past weekend’s match against Atlanta United FC was a statement. It wasn’t flashy, and it wasn’t easy, but it was a gritty, hard-earned win that reminded the league that the Union are built different. From the opening whistle, the Boys in Blue looked locked in — hungry, focused, and in control.

The midfield was buzzing, the back line was solid, and the energy from the fans at Subaru Park helped set the tone. Atlanta threw some punches, but we punched back harder. And when it mattered most, we delivered. The final whistle blew, and with it came a big three points — enough to leapfrog back into first place.

This team knows what it takes to fight through the thick of the season. It’s not always pretty. Sometimes it’s about grinding out results, winning those second balls, and staying organized. That’s exactly what they did. And now? Back on top.
